Torment by Lauren Kate Release Date and Book Cover Revealed!
“Torment”, the next installment in Lauren Kate’s “Fallen” book series is set for a September 28th release date of this year. While we’re waiting, we can feast our eyes on the gorgeous new cover of the upcoming novel! Pre-orders for the book are now available on Amazon (see link below).
UPDATE: I would also like to take the time to address some discrepancies about Disney releasing the movie version. The movie will NOT be branded under the Disney name, it will be under Mayhem Productions. While Disney is the parent company, I don’t believe we’ll necessarily get typical Disney material (although it’s too early to tell at this point). Hope that clears things up a bit.

Ive read ‘Fallen’ and have posted a comment on here before and i went back and read some more comments and i can see that most are ‘die-hard’ twlight fans. i have nothing aganist that trust, but what i dont get is why do you want this great book as a movie if its a book it should stay a book. when i read i play it out in my head i already have my vision of josh daniel and luce and everyone else. when movies come out it just ruins my creativity. i read The Twlight Saga way before the movies and i had an Edward and Bella and Jake in my head and the actors and actresses didnt match up. ‘Fallen’ is way too goo of a book to become a teen dream obesssion. Next thing you know Hottopic will be selling shirts with josh and daniels actors on them. i really hope this doesnt become a movie i really did love this book, and making a movie would ruin it for me.

I love Fallen! I just reread it so I can remember things better:) i was looking up the release date and i wanted to write a review of how much I love this suspenseful book. I think millions of people are awaiting the new Torment. Oh, Hush, Hush is also an amazing novel! it is almost tied with Fallen in my opinion:) <3

i agree with all of you 100percent…because like Krista said, i have already pictured my luce and daniel and cam and everyone else in my mind..and if the movie does come out then it will just ruin it all..like in twilight i had read all books 3 times and once twilight the movie came out i was devastated…the actors were not how i pictured them…and like others are saying fallen has this really dark theme/feel to it and thats what we all love about it i guess??…after reading twilight i started reading other books but ever since i read fallen(and i have read heaps of books after it aswell) nothing tops it off!!…hush hush is amazing though lol…i read fallen last december and i waited half a year for it and still think about it…well not long to go till Torment!! I hope that its as good as fallen!!

I agree with krista.
This book will be ruined if turned into a movie and i dont think disney should do it either. If anyone maybe abc. but i stress again that this book should not be turned into a movie whats it gunna be Team Cam or Team Daniel?

Thanks to all for stopping by and commenting, it is much appreciated
I must point out though, that there are some discrepancies about Disney releasing the movie version. The movie will NOT be branded under the Disney name, it will be under Mayhem Productions. i read fallen and i just got the new one torment for my b-day yesterday and i cant wait to read it. i think it would be awesome it of became a movie its just that disney shouldnt do it. and i do understand that the characters dont alway fit the way we imagine how they would look so maybe it would be better if they didnt make a movie. that and the twilight movie sucked ass!! no ofence to twilight lovers( tho most of you only started likeing twilight when u heard there was a movie then read the books.) i like twilight and i read them way before the movie existed. its just that maybe it not a good idea to ruin another book…. but what do i know i’m now multi time billion dollar company.

So I really enjoyed reading Fallen but I’m concerned about Disney creating the movie. I just feel that Fallen would benefit more from a darker moody style picture. However, we all know Disney will create a polished, wholesome and PC movie.
Fallen and the up coming Tormented novel have all the potential to match the success of the Twilight Saga, However with Disney adapting the book to a movie, I don’t think their will be any competition.
