Torment by Lauren Kate Release Date and Book Cover Revealed!
“Torment”, the next installment in Lauren Kate’s “Fallen” book series is set for a September 28th release date of this year. While we’re waiting, we can feast our eyes on the gorgeous new cover of the upcoming novel! Pre-orders for the book are now available on Amazon (see link below).
UPDATE: I would also like to take the time to address some discrepancies about Disney releasing the movie version. The movie will NOT be branded under the Disney name, it will be under Mayhem Productions. While Disney is the parent company, I don’t believe we’ll necessarily get typical Disney material (although it’s too early to tell at this point). Hope that clears things up a bit.

omfg! ill have to wait this long for the greatest book i think is out there?! ugh but it will be worth the wait hopefully she makes more series i think they are going to make it into a movie (i hear disney will make the movie, i really hope not or theyll just ruin the hole thing like what happend with twilight)

i have read twilight and loved it when it came out, but what it has become is nothing good. i hope Fallen will not become like that, because it really is an amazing book. Tourment is taking forever to come out, but i know it will be worth the wait. Fallen should NOT be a movie everytime a book gets made into a movie, it turns into a teen girls obbesstion and yes im a teen girl but i was not like some of these crazed fans Twilight was killed by becoming a movie i dont want that for Fallen it is too good of a movie.

I loved the book Fallen! I want there to be a movie but it should be a GOOD one! I agree with Krista, if it does become a movie then it will be a teen girl obsession. Pretty much all movies that have come from books are really bad. Unless, you haven’t read the book. I can’t wait till Torment comes out!! -
Wow i love fallen its wonderfull and its a nice break from vampire books even tho those are my favorte. I cant wait for it to come out and some of my friends are hookd now, so september here we come!!! And i dont care how long the wait is itll be worth it ! And yall need to be more patint and less harsh about the wait, you have to wait just as long as we do!

Actually, as far as book release dates go, that’s not that bad. Some authors take years to release books. Example: J.R.R. Tolkien waited years to publish LOTR after The Hobbit. Be thankful that Miss Kate isn’t taking that long.
Besides, the anticipation of something keeps you waiting for it. It’s a good story. Also, I think that Disney will do a good job on making the movie, for those who are worried. After all, they did a fairly decent job on the Pirates of the Caribbean series, and if the Author didn’t think that they could do a good job, I doubt that she would have sold the movie rights to them. So, have a little faith in the author. She knows what’s best for her story.

okay so when i started reading fallen and it was really good at first but then it kinda got a little boring until, like, the middle then when todd died that’s when things got really really really good! i am one of those people who will start reading a book and if it’s boring i’ll just keep going until the end to see if any of it gets exciting but my friend is not that type of person so she would probably stop reading the book before she even got to the good part! i am currently reading, like, twenty books right now. lets see. . . i’m reading a book called eyes like stars, i’m reading burned in the house of night series, i’m reading a book called walk of the spirits. i’m reading shiver i’m reading the host by stephenie meyer, i’m reading the titans curse, i’m reading a book called sunshine.i’m reading the sight, then last but most certainly not least and from my favorite series EVER . . . i’m reading BREAKING DAWN!!!! ha!!! i love twilight so much. so yeah, i like Fallen and all but tose oare my favorite books of all time, and it’s my fourth time reading the last book. someone tell me if you’ve read any of these or if you’d like to read them. oh and i like completely flipped out when i found out that fallen was going to be a movie though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sooooooo excited!!!!! excitement!!!!!

i loooooooooooved fallen so much but i agree with paula it did get a little boring but then it got awesome again!!! v(-_-)v cant wait cant wait till the movie and torment!!!!!! cant wait!!!!! i am gonna diiiiiiiiie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! die i say!!!!! DIE!!!!!!! need to read the book!!!!!!!! i need it to be out!!!! i need to let go of my vampire adiction and read other books and Fallen has helped me do that!!!!!!! i. need. it. to. come. out. right. Why so long between books. By the time Torment is out, I will probably have gotten into a different series that I don’t have to wait 29 years between each book.
