Salt (2010)
Director: Phillip Noyce
Writer: Kurt Wimmer
Rated: PG-13 (violence)
Cast: Angelina Jolie, Liev Schreiber, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Daniel Olbrychski, and August Deihl
Angelina Jolie plays Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent caught in a possible Russian terrorist plot. Right from the beginning the action gets going and doesn’t let up. High tension chases, lightning fast martial arts ass-kickings, and balls-to-the-wall shoot outs kept my heart racing. To top it off, the story is quite exciting as well. It keeps you guessing who Salt really is and how things will play out. Jolie is in top form in this one, and I was very pleased to see her doing what she does best in spite of her private life constantly in the spotlight. Simply put, this is a high-speed action movie made the right way. Perfect Rating
