Sophie (Seyfried) is on vacation in Italy with her fiancée Victor (Bernal), although it’s more of a business trip for Victor. Feeling neglected, Sophie ventures through Verona where she stumbles upon the letters to Juliet. She then joins a team of women who respond to the letters, which leads her to discover a long lost letter written by Claire (Redgrave). The rest of the story becomes quite predictable, but honestly I didn’t care. Seyfried is lovable as usual, and the two romantic angles in the story are touching. Sure there isn’t a lot we haven’t seen before, but everything’s done so well in this one and the acting is top notch that it makes it one of the best in the genre. Heck, I think my eyes even got slightly watery at some parts, it was that good. IMDb/trailer | Official movie site
