Today I found myself feeling a way I didn’t think I’d ever feel again: I was excited about a show on MTV. Aside from the fabled Dawn of the Dead TV show rumors from a couple years ago, this news has me pretty pumped, and most importantly it has already been confirmed. Of course I’m talking about the new Catfish TV show! I was a huge fan of the film upon seeing it last year (read my review), and never thought of the possibility of it ever becoming a series. However after seeing this brilliant, albeit revealing trailer, it makes perfect sense and honestly I can’t believe it hasn’t been done before. Living in an age of online personas, the show is one of the few reality shows that I think is relevant and has the potential to be more than trash TV as most these days are. What do you all think?
