It is with much excitement that one of my personal favorite low-budget horror comedies Freaky Farley is now streaming on YouTube in HD! This is a very fun flick to watch especially around Halloween time, so be sure to check it out! Big thanks to Matt Farley and Shock Marathons for posting this for all to enjoy.

New Catfish TV Show Trailer!
Today I found myself feeling a way I didn’t think I’d ever feel again: I was excited about a show on MTV. Aside from the fabled Dawn of the Dead TV show rumors from a couple years ago, this news has me pretty pumped, and most importantly it has already been confirmed. Of course I’m talking about the new Catfish TV show! I was a huge fan of the film upon seeing it last year (read my review), and never thought of the possibility of it ever becoming a series. However after seeing this brilliant, albeit revealing trailer, it makes perfect sense and honestly I can’t believe it hasn’t been done before. Living in an age of online personas, the show is one of the few reality shows that I think is relevant and has the potential to be more than trash TV as most these days are. What do you all think? Take a look at the trailer below:

The Host (2013) Official Trailer [HD]
Author Stephanie Meyer may be most well known for her Twilight saga, but after seeing the new trailer just released for the 2013 feature based on one of her other novels, entitled The Host, we may have to get rid of any expectations. The film will be released on March 29, 2013, but I have to admit I am already extremely curious about this one. Much like Super 8, the first trailer isn’t giving much away but left me very excited. Oh and it stars Saoirse Ronin, one of the top young actresses today. The film is adapted and directed by Andrew Niccol who did one of my favorites from last year, In Time, so that just leads me to believe we have some good stuff in store for The Host. See for yourself in the trailer below.
Survivors by Z.A. Recht book release date is finally here!
Upon finally finishing the reading of Thunder and Ashes, the second book in the late Z.A. Recht’s The Morningstar Strain saga, I was on such a rush that it led me to scurry around seeking information on the release of the final novel. Upon my surprise I found that Survivors, the final novel that Recht was working on until his untimely death, is being released on June 19th, 2012. Pre-orders are available below. Grab it, along with the other two books in the series, if you are any kind of zombie or apocalypse fan.
