The new poster promoting Iron Man 2 has been released featuring Mickey Rourke as Whiplash. It looks awesome, what do you think? Iron Man 2 is coming out to theaters on May 7, 2010.

//‘Fallen’ books to be adapted into films by Disney, Will angels be the new vampires?

It seems as if the trend of books for young readers immediately adapted into films is not going anywhere anytime soon. The new Fallen book series written by author Lauren Kate will be adapted into film by Disney’s Mayhem Productions. The first book released earlier this week fallows a young girl torn between two fallen angels. Is the angel the next vampire?

Summit Entertainment has announced that they plan on releasing Eclipse in June 2010 in IMAX theatres alongside the standard theatrical release. Also, director of Eclipse, David Slade, has released several beautiful behind the scenes photographs from the set of Eclipse which can be seen here: http://www.examiner.com/ExaminerSlideshow.html?entryid=825298&slide=1. These photos are very beautifully shot and feature cast, crew, and gorgeous landscapes from the shooting location.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Updates, Photo, and Teaser Trailer

Great news for Harry Potter fans, the final book adaptation of the enormously successful franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, will be split into two parts. Yes, that means there will be two more Harry Potter films to satisfy all of the aspiring wizards and witches out there. The release date for the first part will be November 2010, and July 2011 for the second and final chapter in the series.
Update: The trailer has yet again been removed, so until its official mainstream release I’ll leave you with a sneak preview snapshot from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:
