FAQ

What do the different sub-categories mean?

  • Brief = A very short review, usually a few sentences.
  • DVD = A review of a DVD movie
  • Full = Full length review with plot synopsis, and usually links and images.
  • Theatrical = Review of a movie seen in the theater.
  • Book = A book review!

How do you rate movies?

In the past I’ve reviewed out of 7 points. This might begin to change, however. I don’t like focusing my reviews on a score, but rather the aspects of the actual work being reviewed, whether good or bad. It’s likely I’ll adopt or create a new system in the near future. In the meantime, if you see a review with the text Perfect Rating, or see a perfect rating post tag, you can assume it got a perfect score from me!

Will you review my film/book?

Most likely, yes! Please contact me via the form below for details. I will review DVD or legitimate digital copies, or attend a screening (e-mail for queries). I will indeed rate everything that I agree to have sent to me, but please note that book reviews may take a little longer to get published.
