Director/writer: James Cameron | Rated: PG-13 | Review date: 31-Jan-2010
James Cameron’s Avatar, quickly being called one of the greatest films of all time, has already placed itself as the highest grossing film of all time (not considering inflation). While this is a subject I’ve found interesting for some time, I really wasn’t supportive of a big budget film on the topic as I know it’s bound to to spur more myths and misinformation. All conspiracy theories aside, the movie was indeed a great science fiction thriller. It’s full of superb visual effects and heart pounding action sequences that make for an excellent movie experience. The More >
