Let’s be real here, it’s a movie based on toys, so don’t expect an epic action film. Have realistic expectations and this film will blow you away. The kids will absolutely love this, and the inner child in everyone will have a blast watching this movie. GI Joe is an entertaining experience that will not leave you bored.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009)

Being someone who hasn’t read the books and only seen two of the other movies..I was blown away! The acting of the now young-adult actors is simply brilliant. The mood and atmosphere are stunning, and the story is good enough to keep you sitting through the long runtime. If you haven’t seen any of the other movies or read any of the books (or had no interest) you should at least give this one a try!

Not quite Black Friday hype

Starring and co-written by Kevin James, Mall Cop promised to be the comedy to kick off 2009. What we ended up with was a film nothing short of a made-for-TV Disney movie. That is not necessarily a bad thing, however.

The movie has it’s moments, enough to have you watching to the end; so we’re off to a good start so far. My main gripe with this movie however is not its overall entertainment value, but Kevin James. I’ve been a longtime KOQ fan (hmm..should rethink using that acronym) and James fit that role perfectly. As Paul More >
