Setting the bar for modern masked slashersExperienced makeup effects artist Robert Hall wrote and directed “Laid to Rest,” a slasher flick with a few modern twists. It’s very fitting that Hall is also an effects designer, as this movie boasts tons of very nicely executed gory special effects.
