Le fils de l’épicier (“The Grocer’s Son”) takes the viewer on a beautiful adventure across the French countryside. The main character, Antoine (Nicolas Cazale), ventures back to the small rural town where he grew up when his father becomes ill. The trip home is not so much a pleasant one however, as we see signs of some tension between the family.
